Position Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Logistics/Transport Analyst to provide all-source analytic support focused on foreign logistics infrastructure and military sustainment operations. This analyst will assess transportation networks, logistics nodes, and associated vulnerabilities that impact strategic mobility and planning. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in logistics methodologies and be capable of producing intelligence deliverables for senior DoD stakeholders.

 

Location: DIA HQ – Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C.
Shift Requirement: No shift work required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all-source analysis on foreign logistics infrastructure, including roadways, rail networks, ports, inland waterways, maintenance facilities, and depots.
  • Assess the physical characteristics, capacities, and vulnerabilities of logistics systems.
  • Publish vulnerability assessments of global transportation and logistics control systems.
  • Analyze foreign military logistics systems (conventional and non-conventional) in support of strategic and operational requirements.
  • Produce high-quality intelligence products and present findings to senior policymakers or defense leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics methodologies and MIDB (Modernized Integrated Database) production.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality written products and briefings tailored to senior audiences.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
  • One of the following education/experience combinations:
    • High School diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in intelligence or cybersecurity, OR
    • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in intelligence or cybersecurity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community (IC) and Combatant Command environments.
  • Knowledge of the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Willingness to support shift work if needed.
  • Flexibility to accept 6- or 12-month rotations to other teams or facilities as mission needs evolve.
