Bluehawk is currently seeking a Space Counter/Space Analyst to join Space Pancake. As a Space Counter/Space Analyst you will conduct all-source analytic production of foreign space capabilities including, but not limited to, foreign adversary space doctrine, strategy, communications and collections, vulnerabilities, platforms, assembly and launch capabilities, weapons, dual-use systems and technologies, and emerging space technologies. Works with engineers and scientists on foreign space capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for researching multi-intelligence reporting from various sources to keep abreast on adversarial space capabilities development both terrestrial and in orbit.
  • Collaborate with DIA/ST and SCS scientists, physicists, engineers, program managers, and intelligence analysts to acquire a deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of DIA space and counterspace program of records and other blue space programs under the US IC and USSPACECOM.
  • Identify and prioritize intelligence gaps, coordinate with internal and external customers to facilitate requirements production, develop collection management plans for MASINT technical collection activities as defined by National MASINT requirements.
  • Research, produce, and report timely and accurate Space and Counterspace (SCS) all source intelligence situational awareness products.
  • Compile statistical analysis of current, past, and future events pertaining to SCS threats.
  • Research emerging SCS threats.
  • Collaborate on finished intelligence products concerning SCS problem sets and assigned areas of responsibilities.
  • Provide strategic-level intelligence support to DIA SCS problem sets.
  • The SCS Analyst will develop baseline and also evolving knowledge on US adversaries in geopolitical, information, military, science and technology, and space realm through regular open source and classified research on foreign weapons programs and associated acquisition programs, development, testing, and deployment.
  • The SCS Analyst will also have a good understanding of foreign adversarial political and military leaders views on US in general and on US space capabilities and limitations.
  • The SCS Analyst will be using open-source data from unclassified networks, SIPRNET and JWICS sites to produce intel assessment reporting related to space and counterspace developments. SCS Analyst will also collaborate with other analysts from external agencies through secured telecons, VTC, Tandberg, etc.
  • The SCS Analyst will need to regularly check intel reporting from various intelligence disciplines (HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT) published on classified networks by other IC agencies and through critical thinking, correlate the intelligence from the reports on recent developments to the adversary’s national intent, strategy, and doctrine.
  • The SCS analyst will provide analytical support to intel and targeting analysts from the other two SCS divisions by fusing multiple intelligence sources to determine threat levels at proposed sensor deployment site and assist other analysts and targeteers in brainstorming countermeasures to reduce threats to the sensor, deployment mission, and personnel on the ground.  

Qualifications

 

  • Demonstrate ability to produce timely, logical and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. 
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in either Intelligence and/or space analysis.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly or ability to obtain Poly
