Open Source Intelligence Analyst - Mid Level

Bluehawk, LLC is searching for a Mid-Level Open Source Intelligence Analyst to fill an immediate opening in Reston, VA. Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly or willing to obtain a CI Poly. 


Contractor shall provide research of multi-lingual general media (newspapers. wire services, ). regional media and reports (English and non-English). data from websites. electronic databases (free and subscript ion). interviews. company reports (conference pamphlets. annual reports. etc.}, Government documents (testimony. reports. com miss io n   studies.   etc.), scientific literature. and   declassified   and/or   leaked   information   in   support   of collect ion develop men t and collection support. Analysis shall determine information gaps in collection strategies. or predict areas of information that enhance the UFAC collection cycle. Open-Source Analysis shall tailor support packages to UFAC 's distinct information needs. based on collection strategies and Requests for Information (RFI). and brief their ana lytic results. Con tractor shall provide briefings, documents, and informational materials to present to visitors, new analysts, and for conferences. All end products are produced in accordance with DIA/UFAC policies, procedures, and SOPs.


  • Bachelors or master’s degree or specialized training and minimum 5 Years all source intelligence analysis or intelligence or specialized training and 4 – 8 years intelligence analysis experience or, equivalent intelligence/academic experience
  • Experience with discovering and exploiting publicly available (PAI), native language, gray literature, tip/cue corroborate other intelligence sources using PAI, discover/analyze publicly available social media data.
  • Proficiency, knowledge, and experience with current OSINT analytical techniques, theory, methodologies, processes, and trends
  • Experience with OSINT organizations and policies (DOSC NOSC, Open-Source Council, Social Media Counsel, Open-Source Enterprise (OSE), Open-Source Data Layer and Services (OSDLS), National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC), Special Collections Library (SLC)
  • Experience with the following tools Gander, Silo, GOSSIP, MA, DOTS, iSAFE
  • Familiarity with DIA analytical product templates and guidance
  • Proficient in basic office environment tools (Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer or Mozilla
  • Experience writing formal finished intelligence assessments (e.g., white papers, targeting packages, or other serialized finished intelligence products).
  • Experience preparing and delivering intelligence briefings at the Colonel (O-6) / GS-15 level or higher
  • Language capabilities (desired)
